About the workshop

This reference workshop is based on the structure of Bien Contemporary’s portrait painting event. Guests are welcomed into a relaxed gallery-style atmosphere, paired up to observe and paint each other, and guided through face proportions, expressive color choices, and mixed-media techniques. The focus is not perfection: it is connection, personality, and the experience of making something memorable together.

The session works for beginners and experienced creatives alike. Each participant receives materials, guidance during the process, and a finished portrait to take home.

What guests experience

A welcome drink starts the session, followed by a short introduction to face anatomy, proportions, expressive color, and portrait composition. Guests then paint and are painted, with guidance throughout the workshop.
